Automatic parameter selection for Tikhonov regularization in ECT Inverse problem

摘要: Abstract This paper presents 2D images of the eddy current distribution in an aluminium plate by inverting corresponding magnetic field. Three linear defects with different lengths (5 mm, 8 mm, 12 mm) were machined a 4 mm thick plate. The field maps obtained experimentally using measurement setup to scan defect regions. probe included system contains planar coil excite sinusoidal spatially uniform distribution, and GMR sensor measure one component. inverted Tikhonov regularization. A proper choice regularization parameter value is essential for success inversion method. In present determination was automated careful analysis energy evolution density data as function parameter. validation resulting parameters comparing this method well-known L-curve. advantages disadvantages two methods are discussed. Finally, selection tested experimental map containing information about L-shaped length equal 10 mm estimate performance proposed non-linear cracks.
