Multidentate N-heterocyclic carbene complexes of the 3d metals: Synthesis, structure, reactivity and catalysis

摘要: Abstract N-Heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands are attracting worldwide interest because of their considerable scope and potential in coordination/organometallic chemistry, catalysis materials science this is reflected by the exponential growth number relevant publications. The focus review on synthesis, structures reactivity 3d metals complexes with bis-NHC, tripodal NHC tetrapodal ligands. These particularly generally lower cost availability. literature coverage includes year 2015. This organized six major sections, five them dedicated to each families covered (chelating NHC, bridging chelating ligands). Each section turn divided into subparts, one for metal. seventh concerned catalytic applications, we first examine C–H C–C bond formation, latter including polymerization, oligomerization cross coupling reactions (Suzuki, Heck…). followed C–N, C–O, C–B, C–Si, C–S C–Br formation reactions.
