摘要: SummaryThe efficacy and acceptability of a single half-tablet daily fixed combination 400 mg acebutolol 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide was assessed in study 35 patients suffering from mild to moderate essential hypertension. The results the 22 who completed 3-month active drug period showed that treatment produced significant reduction supine systolic diastolic blood pressure. This effect apparent first week maintained throughout trial. Pulse rate also lowered by therapy. No clinically changes normal were observed mean serum potassium uric acid levels, no side-effects reported.
