摘要: Arsenic (As) is an ubiquitous trace metalloid found in all environmental media. Its presence at elevated concentrations soils derives from both anthropogenic and natural inputs. a toxic carcinogenic element, which has caused severe health problem worldwide. Technologies currently available for the remediation of arsenic-contaminated sites are expensive, environmentally disruptive, potentially hazardous to workers. Phytoextraction, strategy phytoremediation, uses plants clean up contaminated been successfully applied arsenic soils. It advantage being cost-effective friendly. A major step towards development phytoextraction arsenic-impacted discovery hyper accumulation ferns, first Pteris vittata, presented extraordinary capacity accumulate 2.3% its biomass. Another fern, Pityrogramma calomelanos was exhibit same hyperaccumulating characteristics. After that, screening experiments have revealed that genus really unique many species potential be used arsenic. In general, these seem constitutive adaptive mechanisms accumulating or tolerating high concentration. past few years, much work done understand improve capability amazing plants. particular, field molecular biology seems hold key future phytoremediation.
