Fabrication of mesoporous graphene electrodes with enhanced capacitive deionization

摘要: Abstract Mesoporous graphene electrodes are facilely fabricated via a simple thermal treatment of oxide as well site-localized etching Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles (E-Gr-Fe ). Influences FeCl 2 precursor on the amount and textural properties E-Gr-Fe investigated. The obtained framework exhibits porous structure with specific surface area 362 m /g excellent capacity 128 F/g, which is twice higher than that pristine reduced (RGO, 66 F/g). With enhanced electrochemical capacity, low inner resistance good stability, as-prepared mesoporous electrode high electrosorptive 10.3 mg/g when initial NaCl conductivity 300 μs/cm, much RGO (6 mg/g). results demonstrate quite promising candidate performance for capacitive deionization.
