摘要: Particle image velocimetry measurements are used to identify the unsteady flow structures and turbulence in a transparent centrifugal pump with vaned diffuser. The experiments being performed special facility that enables simultaneous of between impeller blades, gap diffuser, diffuser vanes volute. A custom-made 2 KX2 K digital camera unique image-shifting feature is record images. For made close design conditions, phase averaged velocity vorticity fields presented along corresponding turbulent stresses at different blade orientations (relative vanes). statistically converged results show entire field dominated by wakes generated vanes, separation phenomena. boundary layer structure associated strongly affected unsteadiness impeller. impact orientation includes direct effects, jetting ahead trailing wake behind blade, as well indirect such two types within
