Effect of Mean and Variable Time Constant on Compensated Thermocouple Measurements

摘要: Variable and mean time constant compensation techniques applied to thermocouples are used obtain measurements of the temperature moments, axial heat flux, series, probability density functions, power spectra in a heated axisymmetric jet. These results compared corresponding obtained using cold wire which has adequate intrinsic uncompensated frequency response measure resolved temperature. Comparison indicates that at high velocities moderate velocity intensities (∼10%), both lead similar those reference system. At lower higher (∼20%) variable technique yields better agreement with
