摘要: The impact of diet on cardiovascular disease has become an increasingly relevant topic as ongoing epidemiological evidence continues to demonstrate clear associations with burden and mortality. Certain diets, such those high in sodium saturated fat, are associated states, while other diets can be cardioprotective. However, there is limited knowledge how the micro- macronutrients within cardioprotective afford their benefits. One micronutrient catechin class, which naturally occurring compounds plant foods, teas, cocoa, wine, pears, apples. Recent reveals that catechins may a key mediator health via mechanisms blood pressure reduction, flow-mediated vasodilation, atherosclerosis attenuation. This review evaluates current literature interplay between disease, have important implications for nutrition counseling pharmaceutical drug development.
