摘要: IONIC mobilities in liquids are of the order 10-3 cm.2/volt/sec., and ion chambers filled with therefore generally useless connexion pulse amplifiers. Free electrons should have a much higher mobility ; but their path before capture is extremely short most liquids. We been unable to detect them carefully purified hexane. However, condensed argon, charge carriers greater than 40 cm.2/volt/sec. found, these undoubtedly electrons.
