摘要: The development of horse breeding industry in Indonesia was commenced through racing events held all over the country. It were accelerated by Thoroughbred-Indonesian local Crossbred horses. There are many broodmares injured during their time and retired from racetracks. They may still has a reproductive vigor to continue on producing offsprings . Very little information been reported monitoring capacity mares. objective this study explore ultrasonography imaging ovarian dynamics, correlated with estrus behavior crossbred Three mares 6.25-12.5% genetics aged 12-20 years old used study. Estrus ovulation synchronized 10 mg PGF 2α i.m. at luteal phase 1 , 500 IU hCG injection when dominant follicle reach ≥30 mm diameter. Ultrasonography examination done every morning approximately same time. observed using teaser stallions following standard method. Results experiment indicated that onset reached 1.33±0.58 days after injection, average duration 4.00±1.00 days. ovulations 5.33±1.15 treatment 66.67±10.07 hours treatment. Maximum diameter identified 4.50±0.52 cm one day before ovulation. performed 25.4±3.38 length cycle 2-3 follicular  waves. had  was  6.8±1.92  days age years. maximum of  largest 4.2±1.24 cm. In conclusion, improve efficiency breeding, several needed i.e. optimal ovulation, relevan parameters related development.
