摘要: This study evaluated the influence of diabetes on relationship between N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and body mass index (BMI). Simultaneous NT-proBNP echocardiographic Doppler examinations were performed in 1117 patients with dyspnoea undergoing cardiac catheterization. Patients divided into BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 (obese), 23 − (overweight) < (non-obese) groups. In 803 non-diabetic patients, mean plasma levels non-obese, overweight obese showed a significant negative correlation (862.3 ± 228.8 pg/ml, 611.5 149.7 278.3 172.5 respectively). 314 diabetes, there was no NT-proBNP. demonstrated that had reduced concentrations compared non-obese despite having higher left ventricular filling pressures. not diabetes. These results suggest factors other tha...
