摘要: Disturbances of lipid metabolism are frequently encountered after renal transplantation and have been ascribed to the use cyclosporine (CsA) corticosteroids, but individual contribution each these drugs remains uncertain. The effects CsA prednisone (Pred) on serum (apo)lipoprotein levels were compared in a prospective randomized trial. All patients received Pred during first 3 months transplantation. Subsequently, they allocated either withdrawal or conversion from azathioprine (Aza).
