Wave Measurements at North Atlantic Weather stations “India” and “Juliett” in the 1970s (India 2 and Juliett 2)

摘要: Measurements of surface waves have been made intermittently from 1953 to 1975 at Ocean Weather Stations India (59°N 19°W) and Juliett (52° 30’N 20°W) using Ship-borne Wave Recorders. during the first decade project were analysed, published in late 1960s. second analysed results are this report; they may be taken as representative wave conditions existing over a typical year, divided into four seasons. Estimates extreme heights having various return periods also made.
