摘要: Hydrographic data, tritium and potential vorticity calculations suggest that although North Pacific Intermediate Water is formed in the northwest, Alaskan Gyre might be an additional ventilation site. The proposed quantified by a vertical column inventory, which indicates excess of 0.08 kg Gyre. An evaluation energy stored water wind buoyancy forcing shows during winter conditions enough can pumped into system to force 26.80 σθ outcrop Model results relatively limited outcrops time space (tens days several hundred kilometers diameter) account for tritium.
