摘要: A dramatic source temperature effect is observed in the low collision energy collision-induced dissociation spectra of molecular ions derived via 70 eV electron bombardment 2-pentanone and charge exchange. The observation cannot simply be attibuted to increased thermal ions. number factors appear contribute results, (i) increase, with temperature, ratio concentration enol keto neutral molecules, (ii) effects on Franck-Condon which control yields internal energies ions, (iii) differences relative stabilities (iv) equilibrium between isomeric This last item probably most important, being significant. These data highlight role that ion can play as a variable elucidating structure problems.
