摘要: Abstract For the past few decades, integration of biodiversity conservation into forest management has constituted an important challenge, since new models should make objectives compatible with production issues. In many countries, timber is no longer main ecosystem service provided, thus other aspects such as are taken account. One strategies developed to do so define, at stand level, areas where final cuttings not allowed. These can be found dispersed or aggregated (comprised multiple stands) throughout forest, helping maintain a percentage mature that fulfils goals. this study, we have strategic planning model allows us integrate several retention systems compared business-as-usual treatment traditionally used. Production, technical and environmental criteria been considered in order analyse degree conflict between them by designing pay-off matrix. Using multicriteria techniques conflicting were assessed, decision makers’ interactions introduced. range from selection allocation preferential weights each criterion until best solution among set possible alternatives identified. The presented analytical procedure based on extended goal programming method applied exemplary central Spain. Our results show proposed methodology deriving solutions acceptable for makers while estimating physical economic opportunity costs measures volume Euros respectively.
