摘要: This study aims to describe the sociodemographic and behavioral characteristics related adolescent pregnancy in a Family Health Unit (FHU) of municipality Jeremoabo/BA. is descriptive, exploratory with quantitative approach performed said municipality. The non-probabilistic sample intentional, amounted 37 pregnant women and/or mothers older teenagers between 10 19 years age. was approved by ethics committee Faculty research AGES/BA protocol 009/2012. Data were collected through individual interviews application semi-structured questionnaire. In data analysis BioEstat(5.0) used. It found that average age menarche 12.05 years; sexarche 13.9 first 15.5 years. Regarding socioeconomic factors, 65% live on less than minimum wage, 89% have no paid work, 73% had 6 12 study, 92% discontinued their studies after / or when they became mothers. As for family dialogue, 54% reported having received counseling about sexuality, however, 60% guidelines only prevent pregnancy. Adding reasons why get pregnant, desire child. suggested partnership family, school health services will offer strategies effective action aspects permeate sexuality adolescence, providing theoretical support needed knowledge reproductive rights overall health.
