摘要: Influenza A (H7N9) viruses have caused severe human infections and deaths every year in China since 2013. To reduce the risk of infection prevent a new influenza pandemic, there is pressing need to develop safe effective anti-H7N9 vaccines for poultry. Polyethyleneimine (PEI) an organic polycation used extensively as transfection reagent decades. Although adjuvant potential PEI well studied mammals, its applicability immune characteristics avian species are still very rare. Here, investigate activity PEI, we analyzed responses chicken peripheral blood mononuclear cells vitro. significantly upregulated expression immune-related cytokines (IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-18, IL-1β) chemokines (CXCLi1, CXCLi2, MIP-1β, MCP-3), suggesting that promoted cells. We also assessed vivo model. After second third vaccinations, higher IgG titers were observed chickens immunized with HA1-2+PEI than HA1-2 alone. The group increased percentages CD4+ CD8+ T improved PBMC proliferation. IFN-γ IL-4 levels splenocytes from vaccinated further indicated Th1/Th2 mixed responses. This study not only demonstrates when co-administered H7N9 antigen chickens, but supports use versatile systemic platform
