摘要: Abstract The BaAl 12 O 19 powders doped with Cr 3+ ions have been prepared by a low-temperature combustion synthesis method. As synthesized powder was characterized using X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive analysis of methods. diffuse reflectance spectrum exhibits three bands characteristic in distorted octahedral symmetry. EPR spectra exhibit signals the effective g values at =1.96, 2.27 4.85. =2.27 4.85 attributed to isolated ions. signal =1.96 has exchange coupled excitation ligand field parameter Dq Racah interelectronic repulsion parameters B C evaluated from spectrum. emission an intense band centered 700 nm (14,286 cm −1 ) this 2 E → 4 A 2g transition.
