摘要: Dry season food habit of sloth bear (Melursus ursinus) in Hadagarh Wildlife Sanctuary was characterized by scat analysis. Importance value index (IVI) contribution different items the diet estimated from undigested remnants. Percentage dry weight and IVI score Ziziphus fruits highest, termites were most frequently occurring item percentage frequency occurrence equal for both insects. The present study, as compared to previous studies, suggests that dietary preference varies according availability habitat quality.
