摘要: Cells of the immune system routinely respond to cues from their local environment and feed back surroundings through transient responses, choice differentiation trajectories, plastic changes in cell state, malleable adaptation tissue residence. Genomic approaches have opened way for comprehensive interrogation such orchestrated responses. Focusing on genomic profiling transcriptional epigenetic states, we discuss how they are applied investigate cells faced with various environmental cues. We highlight some emerging principles role dense regulatory circuitry, memory, type fluidity, reuse modules achieving maintaining appropriate responses a changing environment. These provide first step toward systematic understanding molecular circuits complex tissues.
