摘要: The Randall-Sundrum I (RS1) model of a warped extra dimension provides natural candidate solution to the hierarchy problem between Planck and weak scales. Coincidentally, theoretical development such 'braneworld' models in late 1990s coincided with experimental veriflcation nonzero neutrino masses. This presents another problem: why are masses vanishingly small compared scale? To solve this, Grossman Neubert have proposed 'generalized see-saw mechanism' utilizing bulk right-handed neutrinos within RS1 framework. Such is highly constrained by limits on lepton ∞avor violation, Kitano has shown that some flne tuning required meet these bounds. In this essay will present model, Grossman-Neubert extension, violation from neutrinos.
