It has been claimed that sativa, a recently introduced crop in northern Great Plains, is highly species. However, this issue not formally tested. Utilizing replacement series diagrams, we assessed importance C. sativa. Results indicated canola Bromus tectorum were superior competitors both loam sandy soils, thus providing evidence may be as previously indicated.
