摘要: In Cloud Computing, the topic about hypervisors is key research as it concerns management of physical resources and deployment virtual machines. Currently, modern obtain new features to increase their performance under different architectures. data centers start adopt techniques for power consumption that can reduce power, meanwhile maintain performance. this paper, we investigate on issues concerning memory disk I/O, comparing two open-source virtualization platforms: Xen Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM). We compare with raw KVM's I/O types, including write through, back none modes block sizes 8, 64 128 KB, relating web downloading database query workload. The results show KVM mode a half (56%) when writing files through page cache 3% consumed by reading files. case performance, speed 26 times faster than disk. memory, VM's rather steady even usage varies.
