摘要: We treated a patient with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and an isolated hepatic metastasis. He was 56-year-old male who underwent right pneumonectomy after concurrent chemoradiation therapy (etoposide+cisplatin) the diagnosis of stage IIIA squamous carcinoma. Seven months later, metastasis found on PET–CT scan. Hepatic segmentectomy performed, pathology showed Adjuvant chemotherapy five cycles gemcitabine cisplatin also given. The has been followed CT scanning every 6 months, there is no evidence relapse at more than 5 years NSCLC. This shows that surgical resection may be option in carefully selected patients NSCLC without disease outside liver.
