摘要: Confocal near-infrared Raman spectroscopy has been shown to have applications in the area of clinical biology. A source wavelength near infrared is preferred over visible wavelengths for inspecting biological samples due superior wavenumber resolution and reduced photodamage. However, these excitation sources a number drawbacks when compared lasers region, including requirement use expensive highly pure crystal substrates such as grade calcium fluoride well long acquisition times lower scattering efficiency. This paper investigates reflective substrate comprising low cost 100 nm thin-film gold on glass substrate, an alternative. Similar recent work that used stainless steel substrates, it demonstrated coated which are relatively inexpensive, produce cell spectra with 1.65 signal noise ratio obtained from under identical conditions, no apparent background fingerprint region. Two prostate lines examined having deposited glass, fluoride, using ThinPrep standard. Background from, adhesion on, three compared. comparison intensities ratios resulting spectra, their viability classification principle components analysis performed, further demonstrates benefit substrates.
