摘要: Abstract The distribution of isotopically labeled hematoporphyrin derivative (HPD) has been studied in mice bearing the spontaneous mammary tumor (fast growing). In stomach, liver, spleen, and pancreas, 3 hr after i.p. injection [3H]HPD, grains were uniformly distributed over tissue sections. After 24 hr, grain density overlying parenchymous areas these tissues was lower than that stromal or reticuloendothelial areas. growing), higher densities seen pseudocapsule, septa, necrotic at 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 injection. At 168 postinjection, only isolated cells, presumably macrophages, showed high densities. From temporal changes observed distributions HPD normal relative stability we speculate factors such as vascular permeability, lack an adequate lymphatic drainage, nonspecific binding serum proteins to elements may be responsible for contribute preferential uptake and/or retention both human animal tumors.
