CLASSIFICATION OF GREEK FAG US WOODLANDS: A PRELIMINARY SURVEY

摘要: Almost 1000 published and unpublished phytosociological releves of Greek Fagus forests are classified the clusters interpreted with respect to ecology phytogeography. A synoptic table is presented. Three ecological groups communities distinguished, viz. mesophilous, acidic xerothermic woodlands. Differentiation within each group reveals chiefly phytogeographical as well further patterns. Geographical distributions preferences community outlined some syntaxonomic conclusions briefly discussed.
