摘要: Abstract The crystallography of lenticular martensite, which formed in coarse austenite grains (size about 80 μm) after subzero treatment at − 196 °C (liquid nitrogen) for different holding times, was investigated using electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). For the sample treated with 15 min isothermal holding, more than 50 martensite plates (with a thickness larger 1 μm) that within grain were employed to obtain pole figures. figures clearly indicated individual plate approximately adopted Kurdjumov–Sachs (K–S) orientation relationship respect matrix. 30 s few variant pairings analyzed. results showed zigzag couplings (including spear couplings), major product had an absolute dominance specific pair (V1/V17). gradient also measured convergent beam (CBED). evidence strongly suggests spread diffracted intensity is related misorientation plate.
