Google's android as an application environment for DTV decoder system

摘要: This paper presents an approach of using Google's Android software stack as application environment for digital television (DTV) sets and set-top boxes. Expanding to support DTV decoder devices developing universal TV box applications enables rapid development shorter release time next generation products. Paper describes the process porting complete (Android Linux kernel, system drivers, user space libraries, specific libraries programs) a platform with kernel available stable device drivers; implementation extensions channel search, memorizing, playback recording. Performance features final will be presented.
