摘要: Abstract Pain in the spine is most frequently described pain problem primary care, afflicting at least 54 million Americans. When spinal becomes chronic, prognosis for recovery poor, often leading to disability and reduced quality of life. Clinical treatment inadequate, focusing on physical pathology alone. To improve outcomes chronic as recommended by current guidelines, Biobehavioral Profile (BPP), which includes six response subscales, was developed guide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The purpose this study describe BPP 100 individuals with examine associations between important clinical outcomes, including pain, disability, Participants reported a high level low life, despite receiving opioids. Scores subscales evaluating loss control, past experience, physiologic responsivity, thoughts disease progression were elevated, indicating need CBT. Five had significant association thought being strong factor outcome variables. By identifying BPP, clinicians can provide appropriate treatments individuals’ life prevent further disability. Further using CBT needed.
