Influence of alloying on the electron momentum density in the Cu-Ni system

摘要: We report on the measurement of three-dimensional electron momentum density (EMD) a 22 nm Cu/22 Ni sandwich foil and ${\mathrm{Cu}}_{0.50}{\mathrm{Ni}}_{0.50}$ alloy film with same thickness, which was obtained from an identical by interdiffusion. The EMD's were measured coincident detection Compton scattered photon its recoil electron. experiments performed at High-Energy beamline European Synchrotron Radiation Facility. experimentally observed small change EMD due to alloying is reproduced Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker coherent-potential approximation scheme [Benedek et al., Phys. Rev. B 32, 7650 (1985)].
