摘要: In secondary epilepsy, a seizure-prone neural network evolves during the latent period between brain injury and onset of spontaneous seizures. The nature evolution is largely unknown, even its completeness at seizures has recently been challenged by measures gradually decreasing intervals subsequent Sequential calcium imaging neuronal activity, in pyramidal cell layer mouse hippocampal vitro preparations, early post-traumatic epileptogenesis demonstrated rapid increases fraction neurons that participate interictal activity. This was followed more gradual rate which individual join each developing seizure, pairwise correlation activities as function distance separating pair, network-wide functional connectivity. These data support continued synaptic connectivity epileptic networks beyond period: occur when recurrent excitatory pathways are polysynaptic, while ongoing remodeling after epilepsy enhances intranetwork well spread seizure
