摘要: The 18-π electron ring in the phthalocyanines and porphyrins largely controls their chemical spectroscopic properties. It is aim of this microsymposium to explore formation reactivities theoretical properties ring-oxidized ring-reduced porphyrins, essentially π cation anion radical species. Redox chemistry ring, through oxidation reduction species, offers powerful, new synthetic capabilities which photochemical as well electrochemical techniques may be used effect highly localized reactions. these species can moderated by control redox states central metal, addition electron-withdrawing or electron-donating peripheral substituents, extent intermolecular association applying both solvent polarity substitution.
