摘要: American capitalism differs from all other forms of industrial is its historical focus on both the creation wealth (entrepreneurship) and reconstitution (philanthropy). Philanthropy part implicit social contract that continuously nurtures revitalizes economic prosperity. Much new created historically has been given back to community, build up great institutions have a positive feedback future growth. This entrepreneurship-philanthropy nexus not fully explored by either economists or general public. The purpose this paper suggest philanthropists – especially those who made their own fortunes create foundations that, in turn, contribute greater more widespread prosperity through knowledge creation. If we do analyze philanthropy can understand neither how development occurred nor what accounts for dominance.
