摘要: Using plot level data, this study examines the differential fertilizer application rates on plots managed individually by men, women, or jointly in dual adult households three districts south-central Mozambique. The results suggest that—controlling for demographics of manager and characteristics—joint management agricultural is associated with higher maize but lower non-food cash plots. Absent equitable sharing proceeds from plots, efforts to increase access inputs women may need be targeted at already themselves. In land-scarce environments where are less likely have parcels cultivate autonomously, these that improving women’s bargaining power under joint activities one way improve gender equality agriculture.
