摘要: A positron emission tomography (PET) detector configuration for a combined PET and computed (CT) imaging system, wherein the CT system includes an annular cavity. The backplane having neutral axis aperture. In addition, at least one located about aperture, center of mass is in-line with portion in cavity thereby reducing footprint system. Further, location reduces strength needed maintaining structural integrity backplane.
