摘要: The authors explored the use of critical consciousness as a training tool to provide effective, culturally competent disaster response counseling services disaster-affected communities. results are presented qualitative study evaluating outcomes for participants in outreach project serving residents post-Katrina New Orleans. Participants demonstrated increased personal and cultural awareness also constructed new knowledge related competencies.
