摘要: Abstract The nucleus 110Cd has been studied using the 13C and 18O induced reactions NORDBALL multi-detector array. yrast band was observed to Iπ = 28+ a large number of side bands were identified. h 11 2 neutrons found play dominant role in rotational structures. weakly populated 3187 keV 8+ state is interpreted as arising from proton g 9 −2 configuration. Collective bands, where members are connected by ΔI 1 transitions not observed, also reported. These have prolate configurations involving both protons. experimental data discussed terms total routhian surface cranked shell model calculations.
