摘要: The frequency distributions of spectral lines nonhydrogenic atoms broadened by local fields both electrons and ions in a plasma are calculated the classical path approximation. electron collisions treated an impact theory which takes into account deviations from adiabaticity. For ion effects, adiabatic approximation can be used to describe time-dependent wave functions. various approximations employed were examined for self-consistency, accuracy about 20% resulting line profiles is expected. Good agreement with Wulff's experimental helium was obtained while there large theory, especially shifts. Asymptotic wings given astrophysical applications. Here effects as important lead asymmetries, but near core usually dominate. Numerical results tabulated 24 neutral principal quantum numbers up five.
