The Effect of Blood Transfusion on Outcomes in Aortic Surgery.

摘要: The use of blood transfusion in cardiac surgery varies widely. beneficial effects products are offset by an increase morbidity and mortality. Despite multiple studies showing association between product exposure adverse short- long-term events, it is difficult to determine causality. Nevertheless, the implication sufficient warrant search for alternative strategies reduce while providing a standard care that optimizes postoperative outcomes.
