摘要: This thesis explores how the concepts of food sovereignty and agroecology have been adopted in Ecuador, evaluates their potential to contribute farming communities’ well-being. It draws on perceptions civil society grassroots movements. Consequently, this study has a multiple case approach. The first analyses formation consolidation into single movement federation peasant movements that pursue as one main objectives. way which institutionalised within is elucidated, order examine strategies put place by social apparatus. second carefully examines community undertaking successfully applied principles sovereignty, while improving farmers’ livelihoods. elaborates specific characteristics inherent practice field, intertwines information with culture philosophy involved.
