摘要: In response to the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) pandemic of 2003 and influenza 2009, many countries instituted border measures as a means stopping or slowing spread disease. The measures, usually consisting combination entry/exit screening, quarantine, isolation, communications, were resource intensive, modeling observational studies indicate that screening is not effective at detecting infectious persons. Moreover, has high opportunity costs, financially in terms use scarce public health staff resources during time need. We discuss border-screening experiences with SARS propose an approach decision-making for future pandemics. conclude outbreak-associated communications travelers entry points, together communication clinicians more disease control community, may be international communicable diseases.
