摘要: This in vitro study investigated the aging behavior of dental composites with regard to surface roughness (SR), Vickers hardness (VH) and flexural strength (FS), elucidated impact artificial parameters. One hundred sixty-five rectangular specimens were prepared from five (Filtek Supreme XT, Filtek Silorane, CeramX, Quixfil, experimental ormocer) subjected various protocols (storage distilled water/ethanol/artificial saliva for 7, 90 365 days; thermal cycling, 2 x 3000 cycles 5/55 degrees C). SR, VH FS determined at baseline after each treatment. Means standard deviations calculated; statistical analysis was performed using three-way ANOVA Tukey-Kramer multiple comparison test (alpha=.05). The results showed a significant influence composite duration on mechanical parameters; medium did not have FS, but there SR. highest overall found theexperimental ormocer; Silorane yielded lowest values. For significantly values ormocer. Prolonged periods (90 or days) cycling led decreases both increases findings current indicate that differ SR its properties VH, as well behavior. Generally, leads decrease properties, which underlines relevance continuous improvement composites.
