Investigation of mechanical properties of modern dental composites after artificial aging for one year.

摘要: This in vitro study investigated the aging behavior of dental composites with regard to surface roughness (SR), Vickers hardness (VH) and flexural strength (FS), elucidated impact artificial parameters. One hundred sixty-five rectangular specimens were prepared from five (Filtek Supreme XT, Filtek Silorane, CeramX, Quixfil, experimental ormocer) subjected various protocols (storage distilled water/ethanol/artificial saliva for 7, 90 365 days; thermal cycling, 2 x 3000 cycles 5/55 degrees C). SR, VH FS determined at baseline after each treatment. Means standard deviations calculated; statistical analysis was performed using three-way ANOVA Tukey-Kramer multiple comparison test (alpha=.05). The results showed a significant influence composite duration on mechanical parameters; medium did not have FS, but there SR. highest overall found theexperimental ormocer; Silorane yielded lowest values.
