摘要: Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi are known to improve plant growth as well enhance the host plants ability fend off pathogens. Interactions of these important soil with other micro-organisms such promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) evitable in a complex environment. The combination AM and PGPR agriculture production systems increasing interest particularly due their combined biological control potential. Several mechanisms have been proposed account for observed interactions include improved access nutrients, compensation damaged roots development induced resistance (IR), competition between micro-organisms, altered microbial populations antagonism towards pathogens resulting from presence antimicrobial compounds siderophores. interaction is likely involve ensuring that battle root domination remains realm beneficial PGPR.
