摘要: We examined the influence of newly acquired information on children's memory and general representation a personally experienced event. Thirty-five children between ages 5 7 years participated in novel event (Visiting Pirate). The day before participating, were: (1) provided with new specific to up-coming event; (2) engaged discussion generally related topic based existing knowledge; or (3) discussed an unrelated topic. Advance led better recall and, particular, integration experience into both soon after at follow-up interview 4 months later, whereas without neither enhanced reports nor facilitated information. Providing advance can have significant effects knowledge acquisition although many variables, including those relating content information, will affect this relation.
