摘要: This study aimed to define the current status of ethnobotanical research in Brazil based on published scientific articles and detect knowledge gaps Brazil's ethnobotany. A database, including national international journals from 1988 2013, was gathered for this purpose. report discusses growing number publications main techniques used discipline. To identify gaps, his emphasizes focus different studies, target regions, communities targeted or involved original study. Most focused northeast southeast Brazil, most frequently studied biomes were Caatinga Atlantic forest. Further, located rural areas, although studies urban areas has been steadily increasing. lack human resources a Amazon, Cerrado, Pampa, Pantanal regions identified gaps.
