摘要: Research study was conducted from January to May, 2002 in residential areas along the Palosi Drain, Peshawar. Main objective of evaluate water quality shallow and deep wells vicinity Drain. For this purpose, 20 samples were taken 13 wells, 3 4 wastewater Water analyzed for heavy metals or trace elements (Cd, Pb, Ni, Cu, Fe, Zn, Mn). The results indicated that such as Cd, Ni Pb caused problem at some locations due their elevated concentrations (0.04, 0.38 0.29 mg l‾1, respectively) compared WHO`s drinking standards. reason could be corrosion plumbing fixture piping fixtures. However, other Zn Mn not a average (0.20, 0.30, 0.40 0.16 within It may concluded generally good did affect wells. (Less)
