摘要: Anabolic androgenic steroids are synthetic derivatives of testosterone, which is the primary male sex hormone. used to enhance athletic performance and appearance. Adverse effects include those on liver, serum lipids, psyche/behavior reproductive system. Androstenedione an anabolic steroid increase blood testosterone levels for purposes increasing strength, lean body mass sexual performance. However, there no research indicating that androstenedione, or its related compounds, significantly increases strength and/or in humans by levels. The long-term health prolonged androstenedione supplementation unknown. Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) a weak androgen also elevate levels, advertised as anti-obesity anti-aging supplement capable improving libido, vitality immunity demonstrates DHEA does not concentrations men, may acutely women, thus producing virilizing effect.
