摘要: Brain capillary endothelial cells (BECs) form the ultra-tight blood-brain barrier (BBB). The permeability of BBB increases with increasing age and neurovascular neurodegenerative diseases. Major defects can be initiated by increased to plasma proteins in small arteriosclerotic arteries release from degenerating neurons into brain extracellular space. These deposit perivascular spaces, subsequently negatively influence BECs leading decreased expression proteins. Detection use non-invasive techniques is relevant for clinical settings advanced severe disorders.
